Hey everyone!

Today there was a reptile expo in Budapest, Hungary so i went there looking for something to add to my collection :p

at first i wanted to buy this snake:

it was listed both as an Albino Jungle and as a reverse okettee.. any ideas ?

Also wanted to ask your opinion on hybrid corn snakes, what are the chances of them being sterile? I really liked the morph but feeling kinda weird towards hybrids. Am i being ''racist'' without reason?

So instead of buying this i bought this little miami gal! i liked the intensity of the black around the saddles:

this photo is not so good but didnt want to strees her further..

Also found a pair of Bloodred babies from different clutches. female bloodred and male bloodred pied side but were a bit above my spending budget :p

A jungle is a king snake/corn snake hybrid. They are perfectly fertile.

Your cute little snake is actually a normal, not a miami. Miami-phase have a pure silver background color, no orange. You snake is going to be a really vibrant orange!

The one you got almost makes me wonder if they meant Okeetee...She's got awfully thick borders. Wait and see!!

If a snake is listed as Jungle and Reverse Okeetee then it should be regarded as a hybrid.
You can not tell from the look if it is just reverse okeetee or 75% reverse okeetee and 25 % kingsnake.
So, if listed as jungle it might be a snake eating hybrid anyway.

It looks like the first one should be listed "Albino Jungle" who corn parentage was a Reverse (amelanistic) Okeetee. Breed a california kingsnake to a reverse Okeetee corn snake, then breed the het amel kids together and voila a "reverse Okeetee jungle corn" :)

Some people love hybrids, some despise them. All a matter of opinion.

I agree that the first hatchling you looked at is most likely a hybrid despite looking more like a very nice reverse Okeetee.

Your new hatchling still looks more like a normal than a Miami-phase due to the orange ground color along his back between the saddles. He MAY not get much orange in the ground color as he grows, but I doubt it. At this age, a Miami-phase would show virtually no color in the ground except silvery white.

Are you able to visually tell that the first is a hybrid? Or just a hunch because of the way it was labelled?
Just curious as I have a hybrid as well as an r/o that came from the same breeder. My r/o looks almost identical to the one above. I assume my r/o is pure corn, however I wasn't told that my 'Ultra' was hybrid either....So to be honest, I'm quite curious now. Where could I find pics of Albino Jungles, Iansviv?

OP - Your corn is gorgeous! I love the one you chose :)
