Hi! My fiance and I are talking about adopting a beautiful, fully grown corn from his work friend. He is 6 years old. The work friend has had him for over 4 years. She purchased him from a younger kid who had him from babyhood. He would be my first ever snake. I am very excited!
She was telling my fiance about his feeding schedule. They feed him 2 adult mice every 3 weeks. Which seems odd to me, I thought adult corns were fed once per week generally, and only one mouse. I have never heard of feeding double. I thought if the snake was needing more, you just went up a size in mouse. Maybe I am totally wrong!!
From what my fiance told me they seem like great owners, she showed him pictures and talked all about the snake. The only thing that threw me off was the feeding schedule. Any advice I'd really appreciate. Do I keep the same schedule or adjust? It could be very stressful for him in his new environment.
