aggressive corn stories

I wanna hear some stories from you folks about mean corns and how they bit or tried to bite you, your children, or your pets. Any bite pics would be nice too. Corn stories only please. I KNOW most of the other snakes are ornery! LOL.

Well, it's a pretty trivial story but I have a little hateling that hits me pretty much every time I handle it unless there is a pinkie involved.

I have a couple of evil corns...
First is Demi the ghost. She is very cage aggressive and was a craigslist pick up from a year ago who was given up because she was biting and scaring her previous owner. She will strike every single time.
Next is Skully the snow. She spent a year loose under my house, and while she was sweet when she escaped. When she was found a year later...she had "gone wild" and is now a biter. She had to toughen up and feed herself for a long time after all..and lord knows she grew like a WEED in her year of freedom.
And Cobra the Okeetee...who is definatly a hateling!

I have two mean girls Juniper and Chile though Juniper even has Chile beat. She bites when I change the water, clean poo, feed her, and strikes at the cage when I walk by,lol She's quite pleasant:D

Loving that snow, I don't have any aggressive corn stories yet!

OP: Why don't you tell us some of yours, didn't you get bit a bunch today when feeding?

I got this little darling in 2007 from Vinman. More successful strikes than all my other snakes put together. Often 5 or more in quick succession when he was little. Twopersons, I love him and he hates me!

My '08 Abbott's "Kaa" is quite handleable by me, but sometimes he will slither up to my wife's hand and munch it. No strike, just a quick chew on her...

Yes I did Stars, I got bit a bunch. Thats actually what prompted this post. I was bit a LOT today because feeding was like ten days overdue....so thats my fault. If I wait too long, they all seem to get pretty bitey once the scent of mouse is in the air. I DO have a mean snake however. Two actually. Howie is a huge anery (1500-1600 gram) who comes out of the tub mouth open when you slide it out of the rack. He'll make you bleed. In fact, the little bugger will go for your face if he can, so I have to keep him in a lower slot in my rack now. Once out, he calms down well. However, if you hold him wrong...he lets you know.

The other is an adult pewter het hypo I just aquired from a friend. She just doesn't calm down, she keeps going. I am gonna have to make a snake hook for her. If she wasn't so pretty, she'd be gone after laying a clutch for me. Good thing for her she's so pretty.

My total:
1 Stupid Feeding Error (by Greta the '08 Normal)
3 (almost) Slow-bites (all of them Mallie the '07 Anery)
3 Adult Males that would really like to bite but haven't gotten the chance (Hansel, Xente, Srisgrisard)
Countless "Warning Bites" (Dozens from the hatchlings, one from Demeter, one from "hatchling" Hansel)

That pretty much sums up all of my bites so far aside from the (non-corn) Beauty's penance for insanely unprovoked feeding responses...

This is my biter. You could see the signs even as a baby. I thought she was "cute."

Some people who know how often I handle my snakes predicted that I would soon win her heart.

I'm almost guaranteed a bite whenever I handle Ruby. Her beauty makes her temperment worth it to me. Sometimes, if she is out crawling around in her viv, I can take her out and she is sweet as pie.

But if I want to remove her from her viv and she is in hiding, watch out!!

If you were to search "bite club", I'm sure you would find many stories and photos of attacks. Here is a link to an attack from one of my corns. She has always been, and still is, extremely aggressive and I'm really dreading when she reaches adult size.

Hilarious, what great pictures of a determined little killer!

Love that sequence of shots Susan. Too funny! Never heard of "bite club" is that a thread here on the forum. I guess I have been away too long.
