She is just beautiful!! Her name is Amethyst, right? Because there is also a morph called amethyst, and your girl is not one of those.

no no...she is an opal motley. I found it to ordinary to call her opal lol and I just couldn't remember the name of the mythic gods...so I called her the name of an other pink stone. I didn't know that there were a morph called amethyst...I'll look it up and...thanks for the info!

The animal you have pictured doesn't look like an Opal Motley. Did you attach the wrong photo maybe?

Your girl is very beautiful, but she does look to me to be more like an amel motley and not an opal motley.....

Oh wait a sec, I am sorry, I confused an amethyst with an orchid. Unless an amethyst is a lava lavender....

Is an amethyst a lavender caramel?? I can't find it anywhere.

We've already determined that Amethyst the New Snake is most likely a Hypo Motley. I think there was some confusion on the pet store's part.

I second that she looks like a Hypo Motley in deep blue. Def not an Opal anything..

She also looks like she may be older and malnourished. Babies spines don't generally stick out in that way. I hope she does well for you. Did the pet store give you any kind of background info?
