Are past breeders changing their plans this year?

For those you have bred in the past: Are you planning to breed more, less, or about the same this year?

I may not breed at all this year.

From what I've seen, my local market is for the lower end morphs like Normals, Amels, Anerys, Snows and stripes of those. My only breeding females now will produce Caramel Mots, Butters, Butter Mots, GoldDusts and GoldDust Mots. The only real demand is for the GoldDusts/GoldDust Mots, and they're produced in mixed clutches with Butters/Butter Mots which won't sell for a while. I should be having that conversation with the shop I supply in a few weeks' time, so I don't know for sure yet.

Besides which, last year hatching season coincided with excavation season (I'm a student archaeologist) and having to deal with sorting out hatchlings on top of a day's physical labour, was pretty difficult.

I am going to do the same(6 clutches). The market I am in is steady. My mice, rats, and ASF are selling steady also. However, I have geared up a few extra mice colonies(8) for pinkie production.

I plan(notice this word will get me in trouble) on opening a table at the monthly show they have in Birmingham.

Kinda... Not gonna breed any more ghosts this year. Just gonna work on proving out a bunch of poss cinder hets. The other pairing I was kinda thinking of was caramel stripe het amel X amel stripe het caramel but my amel stripe girl is gonna have to have a growth spurt for that.
I'd love to breed my Hondos but they aren't interested :(

Sorta,
I'm going with the, "Less is more", concept. I have a few Hybrids ready to go this year so I'll focus on those. I only have five Corn breeding's scheduled, and one or two Kings. I'll keep supply limited and go by demand and/or waiting lists to dictate what I continue to breed going forward.

In reality.. I have lost the want to breed much.. Maybe just two clutches this year... * my like both will double clutch with humongous clutches and I will have the same number of eggs I have had the last two years*LOL*)
No not breeding much at all..

Although this above statement might change and reflect every oterh days ups and downs! *LOL*

I have new genes, new combinations and plenty of projects that will be started this year, so I'll have more this year than last year, but not quite as much as in '08 or before.

I agree with Susan, I have several projects of age this year and will be breeding those along with a bunch of new assorted kings, hondos, and ball pythons.

I'll be doing more as well. 2 corn clutches last year, hopefully 8 this year, along with bp's, bd's, and leos, but no uromastyx this time.

Should have double or triple the clutches I had last year. A lot of my earlier "investment" Hatchlings of a couple of years ago are now at breeding age. Also Have some Albino Western Hognose that are ready to breed.
Not worried about being stuck with hatchlings as what I do not sell, I wholesale out and this year will be trading / wholesaling out for Ball Python Morphs.
