Are we killing the future market?

Personally I don't like being lumped in any group with KJ. And why exactly is being compared to little girls an insult?
You have been starting fires all over this forum Mike.:realhot: I'm going to remember this post/thread and archive it for use three years from now.:duck:
I will use it to confirm the fact that it was your sole, premeditated purpose to promote misogynistic causes and spurn cucumber melon soap users all over the world. :nope:
Terri

I'll keep a back up copy for ya !!!!

Let me get this straight from the beginning to now........

If you buy corns at the beginning of the season and the price goes down the market is dying. And in order to keep the market from dying you need to cull what you produce by selling to pet stores or dragons. Thus, you are saving the market and keeping a high price on a commodity that can replicate itself and actually costs money to keep. All the while, you need to make sure your skin is soft and smells like different things found in the garden.

Am I on track?

You know Jeff, you just an't stop thinking of my big snake and how sexy I smell

08 for me was a flop I only produced 25 to 30 babies and about 100 dragons. Everything went wrong I had 3 customers from eroupe. I would have sold more than 1/2 of my stock over seas.

That Sucks!

Ha! That stopped with hybrids were so infused into the hobby that nobody knows what a pure cornsnake really is any more! :noevil:

I just happen to have a couple w/c straight from the Hunt club.:)

I thought they refused all collection (legal) on club property. Who'd you sell your virginity to to allow collection? LOL.

To be honest, though, the thousands of released cornsnakes in the club vicinity makes it so I'm not surprised WHAT pops out of those snakes there. Shrug?

Well I tried for 3.7 million, but I had to settle for alot less! I've been there snake hunting 4 times in the past 30 years with a very good friend. I have some f1's I can test breed to a snow.

Another dirty secret of the hobby, Okeetee yes for many years has had good people that made bad judgments by relasing corns from all over the place. I'm sure only a had full every few years survive
. You know the odds better for the survival of wild hatchling. But so many were released

Now if I lived in FL or some of the southren stats I would release them into the wild.

Bad judgement for others to do it, but perfectly normal and acceptable for you to do t if you had the chance?! :shrugs: (See, prooooof.)

Hey, KJ, would actually love to get a recipe for that soap. Nothing wrong with finding more ways to use a kill. :) PM would be fine if you ever found the chance or time. :D No rush since we're all done for this year.

NOT IN THE OKEETEE BUDDY MAYBE 50 MILES NORTH OR OFF ONE OF THE ISLANDS OFF THE COAST. DONT PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH

One day I'll be ready to get into another Okeetee conversation.

I have an okeetee, a direct descendant from the Hunt Club * Thanks Meg, your a doll*..

Some days though, the okeetee conversation seems to be a one sided affair, or at least thats the impression I always get..

It comes down to supply and demand.. If you create a market for which there is a demand, then you have no sales problems for a while, especially if your in a niche market, until there is less and less demand.. Not to mention any names, but that has been a pretty common theme through out this thread..

Myself, I am fine, I don't need to produce anything for the next 5yrs or ever again... I simply don't rely on a flakey market to begin with.. My real life job provides for me and my family, I could not phantom the idea that breeding and selling qaulity animals would ever carry me through a famine..

Regards.. Tim of T and J

As far as I'm concerned this market is a luxury market. This market is largely based on disposable income. As the economy and disposable income goes down so will this luxury market. From where I stand the "Greater" economy is the number one driving force in this corn market and reptile market as a whole, for that matter.

What, disposiable income is evaporating? What, people starting to realize they might have let their breeding programs become reckless? What, people with their fingers, hands and toes in the pie? Holy smokes, that might just be an awaking, and should not be a suprise...

This site is watched internationally, because there is a lot of activity, and I would not be suprised to see lower offers made on the animals and those markets will dry up or the profits dropped immensely.. Who owns this blame? What is the root of the blame? What is going to fix this trouble?

I know where the ownership lies, I know what the root of the problem is, and I know what I need to do to fix my woes in this situation.. The problem has been addressed in another thread here, and we should heed the value of what was discussed.. Apparently the cap has been met and ceiling is starting to come down around us, and we might just be starting to head for a crash through the floor..

Tim, I'm sorry, it's early here and my mind isn't up to capacity yet. Can you spell this out a little for me. It is not as easy for me to see the answers as it apparently is for you.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.......

You have to love a word like misognistic. Lets all make an effort to use that in our conversations today.

I know this jerk who is both pedantic and misogynistic...

(He's pedantic, but not really misogynistic; I just wanted to use the word.)

DONT PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH
I didn't, and quite honestly I don't need to. It's all right there in black and GRAY. You do a mighty fine job of it yourself. I showed that with my proof.

One of the (many) differences between you and I is that I back my words up with facts, information, and quotes where applicable. You refuse to.

The only diffrance between you and me is I talk the truth you talk from the dream world.
No, you put words in people mouths and twist the truth all the time. The fact I love okeetee corns and are so anial about my stock Why would I want to taint the mother land that makes no sence. Your consepts are such a foolish way of thinking.

again I would have no problem letting stuff go in other areas in SC but far away from Jasper county. I have posted my love for Jasper county and what people call okeetee. Try to back your words with real facts. You make me laugh, very entertaining how you make up stories in your head.
