I've been attempting to use the corn calculator at: http://www.reptilecalculator.com/corn-snake-morph-calculator/
But, it's been doing some weird things and I was hoping to gain some clarity as to whether I'm lacking knowledge or if it's just plain screwing up.
1. Lists a possible offspring of 2 identical hets as: "Butter Stripe HET Amel"
Butter contains the Amelanistic gene, how could a visual Amel be Het Amel?
2. Lists:
0.390625% Butter Motley
0.78125% Butter Motley HET Anerythristic
AND
0.78125% Amel Caramel Motley/Stripe
1.5625% Amel Caramel Motley/Stripe HET Anerythristic
In the same results. Is this just a technicality or is it mistakenly doubling somehow?
Putting in a Motley/Stripe het Amel, Anery, & Caramel for both parents btw.
New to corn genetics here, so I'm just wondering if I'm out of the loop here.
Thank you for any info/clarification.
