The answer to that is, "Yes, but...." Some snakes eat in shed, others aren't interested. Of those who do eat, some will have no problem but others will regurge or have trouble getting their old skin off due to a feeding bulge. It's safer to wait until after the snake has shed. A few more days with no food won't cause any problem, while the potential for problems does exist if s/he's fed. I personally don't feed during a shed - except for the occasional instance when I don't notice a snake's in the early stages of shedding.
