WARNING: I can be.....
I have a corn snake that is quite small (20g and 21" long) and He is supposed to be a year old. I popped him and think what is supposed to be a male. I can get onother sanke if they can go together. There is this snake that I am interested in and it is an unsexed hurricane motley for 25$ and It is small too(it eats 2 pinkies if that helps). Well anyway it is unsexed and If it is a girl can I put them together? what if it is a male? how do I introduce them?

You sure can put them together. It's entirely up to you. I'd recommend doing a search for cohabitation. Read. Then make an informed decision. There are those that have been successful and those that haven't.

2 corns together

BEFORE YOU SAY IT!!!!

Ive read on these forums and various opinions. and the majority seem to say "one corn per enclosure".

But my qustion is...what if you WANT to breed? i currently have a female..if i bought a male put them together would they evently breed by next year (asumeing everything goes fine). if one were to keep 2 snakes together anyway, what would you tell someone what the proper precedure would be?

no smart a** responces please.

To do it the best way, and the safest..would be to keep the female and the male seperately. When they are the proper size and weight (usually by age 3), you put them together during the breeding season. Some people cohab during the breeding season for a week or 2, but most put them together for no longer than over night....

Way to many risks to keep them together all the time. Plus they don't do well cohabbed, they get stressed and can suffer health issues. Snakes in nature avoid each other except during the breeding season.

If they are both males, they will suffer constant stress.
If they are a male and female, then the male may constantly try to breed the female and if she is not at least 3 feet long and 300 grams, she could become eggbound and die. And even if she doesn't, the constant harassment could very well lead to health issues and shorten her lifespan.

I consider co habbing animal cruelty myself....

Well, the OP decided against it, praise the Gods. So Robbie & Brent did a good job in educating.

Go ahead and do it. You have heard everyone say no and you are still trying to figure an angle to do it any way. Go for it. They are your snakes.

Nothing is guaranteed safe. There isn't a problem till there's a problem. But it's a free country- the snakes obviously can't speak for themselves, so you can do whatever you want.

would 2 females be the "safest" if someone wanted to have 2 per enclosure?

Personally, I would not co-hab them, even if you have 1 male, 1 female.
There are so many factors that can cause stress, injury, even death, when co-habbing them.

If you do want to breed at some point, I would still keep them in separate living enclosures, & introduce only at breeding time (at that point, you will likely (hopefully) have researched breeding).

Imagine that someone locked you in a house with someone you hate, and forced you to stay in that house with that person forever. Made you share a room for the rest of your life. No escape. And this is someone you can't stand for ANY length of time. Do you think your health might suffer?

That is EXACTLY what you want to do to two innocent animals that count on you to do what's right for them.

The two females might not try to eat each other. They might not have shedding problems, and they might not have eating problems.
They probably really wish that they could have their own enclosures. But, they can't tell you that except in extreme ways, like eating/killing the other snake or going on a hunger strike.
