Can't Think of a Good Title, But Enjoy Anyway!

Go Ahead, Make My Day!
Hubby went out to check his orchids and noticed that 2 spikes full of blooms had gotten broken from the wind before he was able to prepare the greenhouse for the cold front. So that we could enjoy them, he brought them in, trimmed them properly and removed a few blossoms so that the spikes would sit nicely in the vase. He casually placed the cut blossoms next to the keyboard where I was sitting, sipping on my coffee and browsing the forum. Not one to waste an opportunity whenever possible, I finished my coffee and spent the next hour or so taking photos until the batteries in my camera died, a good indication that I needed to stop playing and start working. These are just a sampling.

Beautiful flowers, but even more beautiful snakes! I love the Cinder (yes?)! I really need to get me one of those... ;}

Photos are gorgeous as always Susan, but when a man places flowers in front of you he may be trying to capture your attention .....ahem you know;)

Is that a dilute something in the 1st and 2nd pics I love the colors.

So cute! The peek-a-boo shots are my fav too :). I'm glad you could make some lemonade with your poor flowers.

Agree with everyone else, great snakes, great orchids, great photography. I particularly like the first picture, that baby's coloring really looks great with the orchids
