Snakes in designer genes
First of all, just a reminder of what my wee Damascus looked like back in July 2007 when he arrived here, six grams of the oddest looking grey snake I'd ever seen.
And now, almost two and a half years later, he certainly can't be described as a "grey snake" anymore. The only thing still recognisable from his hatchling self are those big black eyes.
Next year will be his first year breeding - I've still not decided what, if anything, we're going to mate him to, but there are a few potential ladies waiting in the wings for him
