Conclusion of full-collection Crypto Testing

I can see where you are coming from. In fact, I did do some digging to see if anyone else had been affected by his snakes, and unfortunately more than one of the members here had. Also there had been many on fauna that had as well, and when they took the issue to him, they were told in no uncertain terms, that they did not know how to care for their snakes, and that is why they died. Just from his actions towards other members, after being told what I was told, I decided not to purchase from him. But, if I had seen that yes, he had done testing and cleaned his stock, and had vet tests for the animals he was/is selling, I would have been all over those snakes I wanted to get. Because there was a paper trail stating that the ones I wanted were clean.

To me it is all about how the situation is handled. You have tested your animals, and plan to do so with new ones you get, and the babies you get this year from positive snakes. If those babies come out clean, I would feel safe purchasing from you, because I know you are honest about what you have. If you had handled this situation like the other person I am speaking about, I would never purchase from you on principle. To me it is all about attitude and customer service.

There are actually 2 corn snake breeders right now on my "do not buy" list, because of the way they have acted and taken advantage of so many people in the industry. I dislike dishonesty to a fault. But you my friend, are probably one of the most honorable people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I hope to meet you in person one day.

That would be cool.
I have always wanted to visit Israel as well. There are a lot of things there that I would love to see, I really like historical stuff.

Solaris gave birth, if you can call it that... a total slug-out.
At least it saves me a bit of money on testing I guess...
*sigh*.

Oh, Ok. That is interesting. I did not think that they would just have the infertile ova... For some reason I thought that they would always just absorb the ova. I hope that your treatments work out. You really need something to come around for you.

I proposed and am now engaged... which is huge news.
In regards to the snakes though... yeah, pretty much one horrible news following another.

Congratulations on the engagement, Oren. I am happy for you. It is definitely a good thing, I know if I had to choose between single life and the one I live with my wife. I would choose my wife.

I really hope things start looking up for you in regards to your snakes though.

Congratulations on the beacon of light in an otherwise dark time.

I'm sorry she slugged out. :( It can take such a toll on the females. I hope she recovers quickly, and can have many more years as a beloved pet.

Orren, I'm wondering if the crypto were responsible in part to the slugs she had. It may have affected her to the point of infertility. A huge congratulations on the engagement...a bright light in a rather dark time. Many happy years together. I hope everything works out in the end and I am greatful for all the information you've provided to the forum. The more people discuss and learn the better it is for all...regardless of the situation or outcome.

Congratulations on your engagement! I hope you have a long and happy life together, and that she will always be there to support you during sad and trying times such as this.

Sorry to hear about the female slugging out. I was really hoping she would have healthy babies for you.
Congrats on the engagement!!

I currently have just one. I plan on expanding my group, of course. Should I get Xia's stool tested though?

Thanks all,

I am beyond stressed at the moment... I'm taking a break for a while I think.
I will try and opt for adoption for Solaris... the sheer number of disappointments left me staggered and a bit confused to be honest… I may end up selling the few remaining healthy snakes… I honestly don’t know.
