I'll try to remember to bring my camera and all 3 batteries...and to take pics, but don't hold me to it! My mind isn't what it used to be.

I will recharge my batteries this week and bring my camera too (I take it with me everywhere anyways) to back up Susan on taking photos at the show and dinner.
 
Pictures

I know for a fact we will have our camera with us and VinnyJ loves taking pictures so I am sure we will have plenty to share with everyone, once we get back I guess whoever has the time to start a Daytona Picture thread can and then we can all post on that thread maybe?? Just a thought, we will be super busy when we get back getting the little one enrolled in his new school and getting our new business going so don't hold us to pictures right away!!! :) We can't wait to meet everyone we are so excited! :)

The directions are mostly correct. Delete the last instruction, as the restaurant is on your right as you drive down Ridgewood. No U-turn needed. Across the street is Millers motorcycle parts.

I have made reservations for 5:30 PM for about 20 people. If that needs to change, let me know.

The address is 1854 S. Ridgewood Avenue, South Daytona.

If anyone needs any other information, let me inow.
 
Since we didn't hear from Don S., I emailed him a special invitation. He said it sounds like fun and he will TRY to make it if he can. He just can't promise for sure. Unfortunately, there is not too much of a chance that his book will be out in time. Would have been a nice touch to have a book signing of a brand new book as part of the fun!

I suspect that Rich will be worn out talking about corns all day, but it would be nice if he would come too. He usually monitors the forums, so I assume he knows about it.
 
We'll ask him at the show, just in case he's been too busy to notice the thread.

Hope Don can make it, too. He's great fun. :D
 
Lisa and I plan on...

staying at the condo this weekend, but not attending the show until Sunday. We still will attend the dinner. Where is it at?

i am not going but would sure love to. i talked to don last night via e-mail about a couple of hatchlings that i am waiting on and according to him he is thinking that his books should be in/start shipping about the last week of august. don't know if this helps anyone but thought i would share. enjoy the fun and everyone post pics next week. :cheers:

Does anyone know from previous experience...once we pay the admission and get our wristband, can we come in and out of the show?

I was thinking that Joe and I might head out to drop off our snakes and maybe head down to Ponce Inlet to get some lighthouse pictures before meeting up with everyone for dinner, but wasn't sure if we would be able to get back in to meet at Kathy's table?
 
i'm not going to be able to make it to the dinner, but i definitely wouldnt mind meeting a few of you and try to put some faces to names.
 
what time does the show end? i have to pick my wife up from Orlando around 5, so we can probly make the dinner, just not the show...that is, if there's room for 2 more.
 
The show closes for the night at 5:00 PM.

In past years the bracelet lets you come in and out, but if you buy any animals, you cannot bring them back in once you leave.

I reserved at Whictle Junction for 20 people "give or take," so there will be room for the last minute deciders.

Not a problem. Joe and I have a hotel for the weekend so we are planning on going to the show, dropping off anything we might purchase at the hotel, heading out for some photos, and then coming back to meet everyone to head to dinner.
Plan is to meet about 30minutes prior to the show closing if I remember correctly at Kathy's table, correct?

The one admission is for both days, as I recall (as long as you keep your wristband). I never get to go back on Sunday as hubby is usually ready to go back home by then.
 
i only live in palm coast, so i am deff commin both days, even though i cant buy another snake :cry:
 
Sorry gang! Kathy stopped by my tables today at the show to tell me about this dinner meeting and it was the first I had heard about it. I won't be able to make it......... Some friends flew in to visit with us here, and a few other people we haven't seen for a while are all planning on us going out to dinner together. I've been so busy with stuff that I didn't have a clue this was being planned. Besides, my voice is nearly blown out already just from talking to everyone on Friday during setup. By Saturday night, I probably won't be able to make much more vocalizations then a rasping buzzing noise....

Wish someone had let me in on this earlier. I know this probably comes as a shock to a lot of people, but no, I don't read everything posted on this site. Far from it, actually........

So if you are in Daytona, stop by and say hello.

Right now I am hitting the hay. I'm BEAT!
