Crazy Critter Lady
Well, apparently Blood Rayne did not take and the lumps I felt were her ovulating. She is eating and acting interested again but will not let either of the males I have for her anywhere near her. At one point she began violently shoving one away from her, the other she just kept flagging then hiding her tail under her. I was very confused. So I probed her again. Still coming up female. I just don't get it. Should I put her with the male she flagged for and just leave them together until feed day on Sunday or give up on having her bred this year?
 
Do I have CS leaprasy or something? Seems my posts are getting little to no answers since I bought my diffused female. Not all that helpful . . .just wondered if you guys would attempt to rebreed or leave it for the year and if you would rebreed how would you do it with a difficult female?
 
I would put her with the male she flagged for and give them a couple of days together undisturbed. I have several males that won't even attempt to court a female while I'm looking, and some females that take hours of heavy courting before finally accepting a male. I put the pair in a tub lined with newspaper that has no color print as that makes it easier to see any evidence a day or more later. It dries shiny and yellow (poop can be the same color, but it doesn't shine like the other stuff).
 
I know the frustration. My snow laid slugs today but looks solid for a second clutch. Debating on trying her again. If she had absorb the eggs , I know I would try again.
 
LOL I had to threaten having a funky disease to hear from my favorite 3 members lol. Too funny. Thanks guys, thunderstorm just rolled in I will settle them in the honeymoon suite for a few days ;)

Hey! I was typing my response while you were posting your leprosy comment. Can I help it that some of us actually work during the day and are unable to browse the internet during that time? Two employees called in sick, which left me, a receptionist and the doctor for the entire day. When I got home, I had to fix dinner, do a load of laundry, empty and load the dishwasher, help hubby with the new website he's making for my workplace, make sure the children have done their homework and are showered, before I could even attempt to sit down and take a few moments to look at my favorite website and maybe makes a few posts. You should consider yourself extremely privileged that I took the time out of my hectic day to answer your question! If you missed the ovulation you can put as many males with her as you want....
It won't make a blind bit of difference. Until she goes through her cycle again and is ready for next season...

Listen! My brain has been on overload all week covering for not one, but TWO sick employees! Allow it the ability to let off a little steam and have a bit of fun in the process with all the good people on this forum! I'm not allowed to say to our clients the things I would really like to (and in some cases, what really NEEDS to be said to them). And the full moon is Monday and all the total whackos have been out enforce all week as a result. And my new glasses are driving me nuts and will probably end up giving me a worse headache than I usually get because I DIDN'T have glasses. And I got a call today from my daughter's school insisting that I take time off of work to come down to sign some stupid form that is absolutely meaningless but required. I need to kill something...
 
Susan ...If it helps any, I understand your stress and will volunteer to be the thing you kill (at least virtually!). :D

Actually, I just got a chance to do a virtual slaying! I'm waiting for my infraction now, but it was well worth it!

That's one of the things I love about this place! I can talk to the people here, know that at least one will fully understand (most likely many more), know that I'm not going to get stabbed in the back, can blow off some steam, tease some friends and hope they can tell I'm sitting here with a big sht-eating grin on my face as my spirits rise and the tension leaves by the minute!

Now if I can just try to understand why only the center part of the lenses in my glasses function to make things sharp and not the outer part. Real annoying not being able to simply move my eyes to read a post. I have to move my whole head side to side to keep things focused. (I understand the up and down for reading and distance as the lenses are progressive to counter my astigmatism). I can look at the bottom of my screen and read the center windows perfectly clearly. If I keep my head perfectly still and just move my eyes to try to read the time on one side and "Start" on the other, both are terribly blurry, worse than without the glasses.

as was stated in prior posts, your more than entitled to let off some "steam". stress sucks and we all suffer from it from time to time. My previous post, about letting sleeping dogs lie...was my way of saying to dreamsnake..."this is between those two...let it be. I live in a house with 3 women..one is 50 one is 21 and the other is 14. theres ALOT of "Steam" letting in this house...trust me...The above 3 women all HATE Snakes. LOL. Your link, was perfect though.
