If this doesn't bring a tear to your eye, well, I don't know what willl...

If you want to drink or engage in other recreational drug use, please stay the hell away from the steering wheel in a vehicle.

I have done some stupid things in my life (nothing illegal, thank God) but one thing I have NEVER done nor will I EVER do, is get behind the wheel after drinking.. not even after one drink.

I'm with ya, Ares! I've also my fair share of mistakes and continue to do so... But I'll NEVER do this. Unfortunately for those of us who know better... we share the road with those who DO NOT and their idiocy affects us all.

Good reminder, Rich. Be safe, everyone!

I refuse to even take a shower under the influence in fear I might fall, I can't even imagine anyone thinking this is acceptable. Not after all the publicity. Stay safe everyone!

Everyone needs to view this because even though they may not drink and drive, I am sure they know someone who does and if you can prevent them from doing so, you are most likely going to save someone's life.

A very close friend lost her 16 year old daughter, whom I was also very close to, to a drunk driver. That same friend's second husband's daughter from his first marriage is currently serving time for killing someone while she was driving drunk. I've seen and felt the damage from both sides. Driving drunk, under the influence of any drug that may affect your ability to drive, driving while using the cell phone, texting, etc. is something I am against. I don't even like anyone to try holding a conversation with me while I'm driving.

I cant stand people who drink and drive. I never really thought about it till a few months ago..My best friends 16&21 lost there mom and dad, the world lost 2 wonderful great people. And my church lost our pastor and his wife.......

I hate drunk driving. Hate is so much. I hate it when people drink to the point were they WON'T make good decisions. I hate alcohol so much.

Ugh, I almost didn't watch this. I kind of wish I hadn't. I just got my drivers license last month (though I've been driving since I was 16, just never took the test till then) and I have panic attacks every time right before I get in the car to go somewhere. It is worse if I have passengers, having those people's lives in my hands, but I am still terrified that I will make some mistake that leads to an accident and it will be my responsibility, even if it isn't my fault. I am prescribed narcotic pain killers for chronic back pain as well as muscle relaxers, both of which I refuse to take when driving even though I have never noticed any adverse affects from the medication in my day to day life. This makes driving long distances extremely painful for me, and means that I am constantly afraid that I will have a spasm that leads to an accident, even though generally they are painful, but not crippling.

UGH!!! I hate cars, I wish I could travel by horse everywhere, but the (personal) risks associated with that are actually a great deal higher than automobiles, and even horse drawn carriages cause more fatal accidents percentage wise than cars.

Thanks for sharing this Rich.

The summer of my senior year in highschool, three people I knew died in alcohol related accidents. (Two involved cars, one involved a boat).
They were all sad incidents, but the one that stuck with me the most, was a guy who was one of the most popular guys in school, had snuck out (his parents thought he was in his room sleeping) he was in a car full of teens, that got hit by a drunk driver (who ended up being an older brother to someone else from my school). When the officers when to his house for the death notification, the family didn't believe them at first, because he was supposed to be home, alseep.

Also be wary of driving when tired. It's been proven that sleep deprivation can have the same/similar effects as intoxication.
