Speaking of popularity...Can someone find the viewer statics of the Super Bowl compared to whatever soccer's comparable game would be?
Some Site from Google said:But isn’t the Super Bowl the most watched sporting event in the world? That is a complete fallacy. The World Cup Final draws a television audience exceeding one billion people, or a little under one-sixth of the world’s population. In comparison, the Super Bowl is watched by a paltry viewing audience of around 100 million. Even considering that these figures were taken from the reputable answerbag.com and probably have a standard deviation of about 500 trillion, I would still say that we can absolutely reject the null hypothesis that American football is more popular than soccer.
Taken from this site... wether the numbers are right or wrong, I'm pretty sure that answered your question... The world Cup is watched by more people than the Super Bowl.
