Robbie, I can't tell if she is in shed. Although I will tell you this, in over a year of owning Burton and Blythe, they have both only shed about 3 or 4 times. They tend to shed once every 3 months! Mad eh.

My big paulsoni lassie always looks dry... then you skoosh her and her colours pop! Paulsoni seem to have very different scales to halmaheras. They are much bigger, more keeled and set further apart. Burton and Blythe feel like silk, Minerva feels gritty.

Your lassie is a big chunk, how often do you feed her?

She's not really gritty, but yeah, she does look/feel dry. And she's spending all of her time in her hide nowadays... It's driving me bonkers! LOL.
Good to know that she's not the only frustrating example... I can't wait until she sheds, though. :D It'll be like Christmas!

The guy who had her before me gave her a small rat every 3-4 weeks. I'm trying to do the same, because she does look kinda chunky. Maybe I'll go every 4-5?
