MotleyMedusa7

lovin' my sweet corns
went to Repticon Houston today..told my husband as we were walking in we're not really looking to buy any animals 'cuz no one will have a Leopard rat snake...we go right to Shores Enuff's table & there was one right on the front of the table.. I was so shocked I made a loud noise lol..I've been looking for a while and you never see them listed--we haven't named him yet,but my kids keep calling him Mr. Mustache for the mustache mark & 'eyebrows' on his face lol :)

Glad someone on here got him! I saw him at the Dallas Repticon and mistook the deli cup as labeled female when I left on Saturday. I went back Sunday and saw it was male. Looks like he's shed too.

Did Don still have the Tamaulipan rat snakes?

Let me know if you find a female that'll go next season! I've been eyeballing for a leopard rat for some time as well, but whenever they've been available I've not had the $$$. I'd love to get a normal and stripe combo pair.

Congrats! He is super neat looking! I saw the pictures somewhere on FB earlier today.

Thanks! :)

I don't think he still had the Tamaulipan rat snakes,I didn't see them.

I really hope I can find a stripe female one day... I can't believe they are so uncommon in the pet trade, everyone I showed at the expo loved him...

actually,Don did have those anery Mexican nightsnakes...I didn't even realize those were the ones 'cuz I was thinking no..didn't see Taumalipan on anything lol..yeah,they were cool, loved their big eyes :)

Gorgeous! Great find. And I think he is already named, Mr. Mustache is a great name!

He's so beautiful. I guess when you posted that you'd found one, (here or on the devil, I don't remember) I was thinking, wow- I didn't know we had those here! Why don't I know that snake??? I thought you _found_ him!! Very cool.

He is gorgeous!! I also lucked out there, Don had a Trans Pecos Rat Snake, been looking for one for a long time!!

Nanci-haha! I guess it did sound that way--that would be awesome to just find one lol ;)
