As to general care, they are pretty similar to cresteds. Temps of around 70 to 78 degrees, they get a bit bigger than a crested, so a slightly bigger cage is better. They don't climb as well, so lots of big thick branches and wide perches are good. Something 18x18x18 or similar is minimum for one adult. They do not do well housed together, lots of lost toes and tails if you try. On the other hand they are generally supposed to be even better with being handled by people than the cresteds are. They eat the Repashy CGD as well, you can feed only that or also feed insects once every one or two weeks. For some reason their clutches are always female heavy, so males are almost always more expensive. If you don't care, a female will probably set you back less. And as far as I know, there isn't much difference in temparments between the sexes.
