Gargoyle gecko information

I am looking for information on the care, proper diet, habitat, etc of gargoyle geckos. I am SERIOUSLY considering adopting one and want to have all the information before I make my decision and i have searched online and I have found conflicting information....I had the same problem when I was doing research on corns and leopard geckos too. So I came to where I know I can get correct information.

As to general care, they are pretty similar to cresteds. Temps of around 70 to 78 degrees, they get a bit bigger than a crested, so a slightly bigger cage is better. They don't climb as well, so lots of big thick branches and wide perches are good. Something 18x18x18 or similar is minimum for one adult. They do not do well housed together, lots of lost toes and tails if you try. On the other hand they are generally supposed to be even better with being handled by people than the cresteds are. They eat the Repashy CGD as well, you can feed only that or also feed insects once every one or two weeks. For some reason their clutches are always female heavy, so males are almost always more expensive. If you don't care, a female will probably set you back less. And as far as I know, there isn't much difference in temparments between the sexes.

I officially adopted her! Woooo Hooooo She will be a pet, not breeding. I will post pics!

This is what I learned about gargs. Do not get bit! This was caused by me wiping Ophelia's mouth to get the nectar off of her. She did not like that. She doesn't randomly bite. I am now VERY cautious about touching her around the mouth! It hurts like CRAZY!!!!!

Can't wait to see! What morph is it?
I came within a hair of adopting a Garg once off CL, but I couldn't get there right away and someone else took it. I've always regretted that.

Are those pictures from the person that had her before? Seems like I've seen that last picture in an ad recently.

I'm new to gecko morphs like I am to corn morphs so I had to ask what morph she is. She is an orange blotch retic.

The breeder says she is a slow grower. She was born 8/09. She had a rough start but is healthy now. She is missing two of her toes on her back foot too.

The breeder is going to take more pictures of her on Monday and see if she can get her to fire up. She wouldn't for those pictures.

It's all the pictures of the geckos everyone has been posting, it gave me a serious itch and I was lucky to find the add for this girl.

I need name suggestions........
