• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

General advice to TROLLS...

That was perfect!! That one needs to be in the newcomers section....required watching! Can I get another post count now?

Oh that is such a great clip! One of my co-admins loves to get into debates and will repeatedly toss out the nazi reference. Drives the rest of us crazy.

Out of curiosity, do all of your boards increase your post count? We have a few such as the general OT board that post counts don't accrue. Seems to help with the kids who think they want to get their count up to the thousands all in one day.

The video was so funny because I don't go on forums that are unrelated to herps. I figured they probably all have similar problems, no matter what the subject. But I didn't realize just how much the same all forums are, in terms of troll behavior, anyway, until watching the clip.

Thanks!

My favorite line:

"Sadly, teenagers are allowed on the internet too."

(But of course, cs.com's teen members are ok. ;) )

It's not so much the older teens that are evil, but mostly the younger "tweens", ranging from 12 to 15 years old. Judging by my own lurking research, these kids are the ones that engage more in chat speak and unnecessary posting.

I've been on all kinds of different forums in the past several years, and there are certain ones that are worse than others... as previously said, it's usually the forums with topics that younger adolescents flock to that are the worst.

But anyway, just wanted to say that this website/forum is my favorite by far; not only do I enjoy reading about corn snakes, but the posts are intelligent and well mannered (90% of the time -- I've run into trolls on occasion).

Wow, I can be pretty long-winded sometimes!

Thanks to anyone who actually read my paragraphs :spinner:

This thread is worth a bump...a BIG one. (oh darn I just shouted didn't I...)

Thanks Dean, glad some of us teenagers are OK, I was getting worried there for a minute...

Also, I'm proud to say I had no idea what you were saying there, susan

lol, nice video and very amusing thread,

ps (thats an extra one on my post count isn't it)

Torsten, I'm glad you bumped this! I just spent a good 20 minutes laughing my butt off!!
