I really haven't seen any animosity or attacking since I joined last month. I guess its all in how you handle yourself on here.

But if there are people on this site that think they are Gods gift and think they have to shove people around on a website to get attention or respect, you're sadly mistaken.

I don't want to comment on the topic at hand anymore. But I just had to take this opportunity to publicly thank you for the job you and the rest of the soldiers do. It's a tough, dirty, and scary job. And without men and women like you performing daily, things would not be as "rosy" as they are, no matter how bad they may seem.

For everyone else--Please don't turn this political. I am not stating any political opinions in any way, nor am I stating any personal beliefs about the current political climate. I am purposefully leaving that aspect OUT of this post. Regardless of political and personal opinions, the jobs of our soldiers are often thankless,and I wantedtosay thanks tothis soldier. I hope you all can understand that...

i don't think it will get political.......i have thanked our soldiers directly numerous times in/on this forum and nothing has been started from it. they need to hear it more than they currently do. if not for them and the forefathers before, we would not be in a position to log onto the internet and speak our minds as we see fit.
having said that.........a BIG thanks to you and all the others for allowing us our freedom. no matter what the "reason" is, right or wrong, you are supported.

I agree!

I certainly don't always agree with government policy!! But I could never understand anyone blaming their negative feelings on the people who are doing their job and following the policies of elected leaders.

I feel we should always support and thank our troops doing their jobs in difficult situations no matter whether we agree with the job given to them or not.

So a big THANKS! from me too.
