Ghost: Gil

He's an '03. He's a strange and colorful ghost, and a proven one as well (and het amel). He's a big boy anyway, but in these shots his size is a little inflated by the large adult mouse he had just eaten. He refused once while in deep blue during the '06 breeding season. ;)

Very cool. His orangy-ness is quite unusual. Ever thought of using him in a selective breeding project?

He's so cool- he's sort of like a Miami ghost! I think his head pattern looks like a fragile spider. Do you say his name "Gill" or "Zheel?"

Thanks folks. :)

I love his head pattern and color too.

I pronounce his name "gill".

I've put him with an unreceptive hypo-blood a few times, but the sessions were no-gos. Other than that, I don't have major plans. I think Joe Cala (Joejr14) plans to use him this year.

I've considered selective breeding projects with him, but I don't have the time or space to produce the best darned $30 ghosts in the world. ;) But I would like to make a line of ghost-bloods with him. I'll probably try to solidify that project before he gets too old (he's almost 5 y.o. now).

Gil has to be the nicest ghost I've seen. I'm not accustomed to seeing ghosts with such wonderful peachy color, and that head pattern is really neat.

Wow....that is a very unique Ghost. Love it! Put me on the list for some of his offspring if you get that Ghost Blood project going with him :spinner:. What's Joe going to put him with?

Chris

Thanks Beth and Loise. :)

Thanks Chris. I'll keep you in mind if I get that project going. I can't remember what Joe wants to do with him. :grin01:

I just absolutely love this guy! His coloring is unique and gorgeous and his head pattern is cool looking! I wouldnt mind taking him on a breeding loan, geeeeshh ;)

Oh my gosh, he'd make awesome peachy ghost bloods! I'm glad you decided to stick with him and let him have a go at the ladies. I remember a few years ago your picture updates of Gill included phrases like, "I'll probably never breed him but he sure is pretty."
