To be perfectly honest, this thread has become a feast for crows- people keep on and on bashing the OP. I don't see how this is a civilized debate- I only see a whole lot of people disagreeing and abusing the fact that there's a majority of people here who disagree with or dislike him.

No, I don't represent any sort of authority- I exercised my right to voice my opinion just like yourself, and tried to do so in a humorous manner... but I'll say it more plainly now... IMHO people who continue offending another after being so clear and voicing their opinions should learn when to back off.

You will not succeed in convincing a person by continuing to kick him when he is down- it is quite clear he stands as a minority in his opinion.... give it time to sink in. He will either gain insight from it or he won't- but I don't see the benefit of dragging this on.

You may say that it is for your own amusement or interest? that's also your right, but my opinion on the matter is that it's mean and a tad immature.

I am not trying to flame anyone, but it bugs me to see so many people focusing so much effort to show just how much a person is wrong well after the point was made in such a clear manner.
 
I would like to point out that this is one of the few disasters that I have not been involved in. I feel so left out.

So I re-iterate...ALL posts made in this topic any further are no better nor worse than any other. ANY post made in this topic will ONLY serve to add to the topic and continue to bring back up front.

Your posts demand a response. You are accusing everyone that is having a little fun of being immature and mean. Don't you think that warrants a response? Instead of just letting die at 9:51pm PST last night, you just couldn't resist interjecting your own opinion into the topic, and bringing it up to the front...again.

If it offends you so greatly that a few people find humour in this topic, perhaps you should discontinue reading it, resist offering your opinion, and following your own suggestion of just letting it go. When will people learn that telling folks to stop posting in a dead topic never accomplishes anything other than keeping the topic alive and providing more humourous fodder to discuss?

And Wade...I have my browser set to show 10 posts per page. There is a response from you on almost every page of this 25-page thread. So much for you not participating, eh? You even replied last night after Susang responded. Again...ANY post in this topic serves the exact same purpose of bringing this dead topic back to life.

Nothing like laying the blame on everyone else, while you commit the same "crime", is there...:rolleyes:

I agree that your definition describes marriage, but I would argue that my two do, too.

Ahh...but when you say "everyone posting", and I am one of those posting...you are addressing me.

It's really a crying shame that you think you somehow have the ability to decide with whom and how I interact over the internet. Tough luck if you can dish it out but can't take it. Even tougher luck that I really don't care if you want me to respond to you or not. Accuse me of being immature and mean, and I am going to respond to you. Your little fit about isn't going to change it...
