Granites het hypo stripes hatching!

Blue Apple Herps

aka Matthew, PhD
Well after a very bad breeding season for me (4 clutches have gone bad out of 6) I was finally due for something good to happen.

Well I have granites het hypo stripe hatching now! As some of you know, this was from a breeding loan between Starsevol (Beth) and myself. She sent her granite stripe, Steve, to be paired with my ghost blood, Sephie. We got 9 eggs, 2 went bad. So far two are out, two more have pipped, and still waiting on three more. So long as we both get feeding, healthy, 1.1 from the pair we'll be set.

We're both wicked excited for the F2 - striped ghost bloods!!!!

I am so excited! I have had a miserable breeding season myself, so this is VERY welcome news!!
Matthew gets 4 babies, and I get 3. I am thinking of supplementing this project next year by breeding Steve to my hypo blood 50% anery girl Elphaba if I don't get a 1.2 out of this, which I probably won't. But it's all good!! Now to come up with names for these new kids....must begin with "S".

Awesome project! Congrats to you both on the hatchlings and I hope that you both get what you want. Very kewl.

As for names, Bethany... Sharon, Sean, and Sierra? LOL.

Good luck!
