Hey all! My name is Matt and I'm currently living in the Seattle area.
I have 2 Bearded Dragons ( a Red Flame and a Pastel ), 2 Leopard Geckos (a Leucistic and a Carrot Tail ), and a Chinese Water Dragon... oh and a Dubia Roach colony
I have been doing tons of research (mostly from this site
) and recently decided to pick up my first Corn.
I was told it was a he but have not positively sexed 'him' yet. I was going to go through a breeder but decided to pick this little guy up from our local PetSmart so that I could actually handle the one I decide to buy...
I know what you are thinking, but this is the best PetSmart I have ever been to. It has a suprisingly knowledgable Reptile manager and employees are required to do training before working with them. This is the only pet store around that has taken the initiative to replace sand with reptile carpet and everything is always extraordinarily clean.. I hear horror stories about PetSmart all the time but in my area PetCo is the one to stay away from. My baby Pastel Beardie had a pinched tail and I was contacted to adopt her free of charge so that she could get the attention she needed.
He was very active and healthy in the store but I wont be touching him until this weekend when I'll feed him so he can get aclimated... it's killing me! :angry01: I have yet to name him and would be glad to hear some suggestions..
