At the Portland Metro Reptile Expo last weekend we got a great deal on a couple of gorgeous female 2011 corns. The only problem is that they don't appear to be the color morph(s) the breeder told us. We've been doing our best to get a visual ID on them but are relatively new to corn snakes and aren't 100% sure on either one.
This girl was sold to us as a Butter Motley/Stripe but her brown doesn't seem consistent with Butter babies we've seen. We're thinking she could be an Amber or possibly a Golddust. The brown on her appears much redder in photographs--it is a muted brown, the stripe on her back is very yellow and her sides are pale yellow.
This girl was sold as a Sunglow Stripe, but she looks like a Hypo Stripe to us. Her back is pale orange tinted pink and her sides are pale pink.
Any help would be appreciated, and certainly let me know if any additional information would be helpful!
