Kokopelli
Resident Boa Fanatic
Ok, first off I would say she is stunning and I can easily see how it would be an impulse buy I would make. If you feel you can use her in the future and she fits what you want, pick her up. HOWEVER do know that growing a female boa from a hatchling to a breeder is going to take time, on the safe side 4-5 years. These are not corns that you have the potential to breed in 18 months(potential, not condoning it one way or another), these females need to be slow grown to produce nice clutches healthy. Also know the boa market is dare I say worthless right now, its hard to really give animals away. Is it going to bounce back? Ehhh hard to say, locality animals will hold their value, but morphs its a gamble. Boas ran their course 10 years ago, now it seems they are holding on by the skin of their teeth, the market is unbelievably saturated and I dont see that changing. Just some things to consider, but if you look at that picture and think "Man I just gotta have her", take some pictures when she is chillin at your house for all of us to enjoy.
Oh I am aware of the time it will take before she'll be mixed into the plans... don't worry. I have a currently "working pair" to keep me busy
