This little gem is Draco, a 2009 Colorado Corns Lavender Bloodred, bred by John Finsterwald. Het hypo charcoal! (My first charcoal anything!!) I was stunned by his color; he is _so_ pink!
To get him warmed up from his trip from frigid Colorado, I took Draco out to enjoy some 85 degree Florida sunshine. He's a little fiesty! He tried to take out the FedEx ladies as they ooohed and aaahed over him, too!
He looks very nice with Tina, too, doesn't he? I can't believe I have a _male_ lavblood. I have wanted one for a couple years since I got Lily my female, but could never find just the right one, until now!!
Look at that diffusion! Look at his beautiful ruby eyes!! Look at me shaking in fear as I discover he has a bit of fuzz from his shipping container on his lip and I need to get it off! (Not really, hatchling bites do not hurt at all! But I have to pretend they do so as not to hurt his feelings. He _is_ fearsome Draco the Dragon, after all!)
Wow! It's like looking at one of my pics. This guy hatched out last year. The third picture is how he looked a couple months ago! Maybe it's what you have to look forward to! :crazy01:
Huge congratulations on the new addition Nanci, he looks absolutely awesome and Draco is a cool name!
I can pretty much guarantee his colour change is going to amaze you, I know my Rio has changed a lot in the last year and surprises me with nearly every shed with how good looking he is...hmm that reminds me, I should get some updated pics to post
Congrats again, can't wait for the progression thread on him
