I cannot WAIT to see this movie!! I was the BIGGEST LotL fan as a kid. SleeStak is one of my favorite insults...as in, "You're such a flippin' SleeStak"...Most people have no idea what I'm on about, though...
 
I hated and rarely watched that show. But I was in love with Holly Marshall. Interesting how people age.

Chris, I used to use that a lot as well...there were several people I've encountered in my life that I just KNEW were Sleestaks! This will be on my MUST see movie list!

I hated that show too. Even as a little kid, it irritated me that they would throw a slea-stack in the fog pit of death, then turn the crystals just so, and never quiiiite got to go home. It was almost Gilligan's Islandesque in that way. And not nearly enough dinosaurs! And why was Chacka's daddy so mean?

I always watch the show(can't say loved or hated it because it was probably the only on at the time). But I always got the feeling it was suppose to be gilliganislanesque. I think the original writers were fans of dinosaurs and decided to make a marshals island but wayyyyyyyyy in the past...lol
 
We used to watch the show as kids too... One of the things that stuck with me was the way "Holly Marshall" yelled out "Daddy do something!" JUST as they hit the top of the falls. Even at my young age, I remember thinking, "What do you expect him to do?" LOL.

When my brother and I saw the previews to this new movie, we said, "Sleesataka" to each other imitating Chaka's voice.

Simply too funny!!!
