I'm serious... So go no further if you have a weak stomach... theres lots of blood and guts, literally. Perhaps not suitable for kiddy winklies...

Noir my Black milk, affectionally known as slaughter snake, or bin bag, eats everything and anything. So to mark his weight gain of 70 grams since I got him almost 4 months ago, he got a wee treat. One of the corns decided moose wan't on the menu tonight, so instead of wasting it I "prepared" it for Noir. Hes 100 grams exactly, and still only eating a couple of fuzzies a week. Milks have big stomachs and small mouths LOL

Hes getting darker and bigger and so sweet! He used to musk, bite, pee, poop and death roll whenever I wen't near him, now hes just as calm as can be. My boootiful black milk Noir...

That's a great idea for feeding kings, Elle! Skeeter's been having 3 hoppers, but 1 cut-up mouse sounds like a better plan!

Thats why you need a Cali King of fair size.. One of the corns don't eat, El Garbage Disposial gets fed well..

LOL Dean, but I refuse to waste mooses! And 3 - 5 fuzzies per meal for a snake that doesnt have a big enough mouth for small mice is just silly LOL

:rofl: Not silly to me! Maria the 500g MBK won't eat adults anymore, so I give her 3 weaneds. I'm certainly not dicing up jumbo mice for her! :nope: I think you're doing the prudent thing, but I'm too squeamish for that business. I'll slit through the skin on the back, but that's as invasive as my mouse surgery gets!

It's a great workout for him though, he strikes impressivley fast. I can get him to chase the mice bits round and round his tub, and he will not give up! LOL
 
You weren't kidding Elle!

I especially like the picture where he's eating the ball of guts and such. I'm also kinda glad that I didn't have a chance to grab dinner before leaving for work...
 
LOL thanks. It didn't make me ill or anything. In fact I had just started eating my own dinner after I fed him!
 
LOL Elle I think my stomach is as strong as yours, I have skinned mice for easier digestion and cut frozen mice into pieces and it just fascinated me. The only thing that effects my stomach is bursted mice which somehow releases content of the intestines... the smell... ARGH

Both my kings are very fast strikers but always miss a couple of times first, does yours too?
 
Awww! I don't know why but I find that kinda cute... Guess I'm weird huh? He just looked so eager and happy... like look mommy I'm a big boy, I can clean my plate!

Yummy! I read the thread while eating my breakfast, but no worries! (Just as well that I was NOT eating pizza though!!) Maybe because I was a nurse before doing herps full time? I am surprised you wouldn't do the same, Dean. I figured after being in herps a few years, nothing would bother us anymore, haha!

Ever since getting out of kings several years ago, I have been considering some other "garbage bucket" - maybe some red tegus. Shame to throw stuff away!
