Lookie what I found on Craigslist...

It's an adult corn sold from a user on this site being resold for at least 2/3 less than it should be priced... It'll be a drive to get it but only 40$? Wow. When I can I'll rescue it but I can yet :(

Have you confirmed that the snake in the picture is actually the same snake the person is selling, or did this person just use the picture of that snake?

I haven't responded to them yet. I checked poppycorns site and the picture is still there but mention of the snake otherwise is not.

My guess is that they are using the picture for the ad. I highly doubt they have that actual snake. If they did buy that snake from that breeder, they would (should) know the correct morph & also know it's valued much higher than what they have listed.

That's what I'm thinking too. That's why I asked for a picture of the person holding the snake, for size reference ;)

He is a stunning one and I can understand someone wanting to give a snake a better home rather than trying to wait on a buyer to come along as this person obviously does not generally sell if he/she is doing this. If your picking this one up in person, it is easy enough to say this is not what was represented in the picture.... I don't personally think that someone would post a picture of a snake they knew you were going to pick up in person if that person was trying to deceive you, but hey, I've been wrong before.

People tend to be lazy on Craigslist. They'll do a google search and pick the prettiest picture that looks kinda like the animal they're selling, and call it good. I highly doubt this person's "albino corn" is in any way a high quality Coral Snow such as the one pictured. My money is on a pinkish Amel. At best, a snow with a little bit of pink in its saddles.

Until proven otherwise, I'm sure it's not the same animal pictured. They don't claim that it is in the ad, either.

I'd love to hear what it actually is, if they ever email you a picture of the actual animal!

Yea, I'm interested to see what they send back! They have yet to respond, though. I'll update as soon as I know :)

Gotta love CL.
That's how I ended up with my "okeetee"
they sent me a pic of a gorgeous okeetee, I went to meet them... this lady is in an oxygen mask, looks like she is about to drop dead (probably why she needed to find a home for the snake) and she has a plain as day normal corn with her. I told her right then and there that it was not an okeetee... but how am I going to say no to a frail old lady? >.> Now trying to find a home for that snake.

Wanna buy a T-Rex? I have pictures...

Thanks. Shot marsha an email letting her know. If the snake being sold is really one of her corals or flamingo's, then it's priced @ 1/12th of reality.

Hey guys she replied. She sent me a picture and I asked and she confirmed that she took that picture off the Internet.

People on Craigslist make me groan sometimes lol
