There is ALWAYS room for a Scorpion...its perfect in a 10 gallon tank...you have room for a 10 gallon tank...if you have room for hissing roaches, you have room for a little ol' Scorpion!

I know that, as scorpions go, those guys are fairly harmless, but I find them even creepier than spiders! And their blacklight glow is the creepiest thing I've ever seen in a bug (I know, it's not really a bug--but I don't know if it's an arachnid or a crustacean or something else altogether).

Congratulations on your very, very creepy scorpion. Better you than me :).

Here's one during dinner time! Sorry for the wet spot, lol he freaked me out when he charged after my hand as I was changing his water and I spilled some! lol:twoguns:

ME TOO!!! I own two Tarantulas, and have never been fearful of them (except that they might escape when I do a cage transfer and I would never see them again). Part of me knows that a Scorpion would have the same or maybe even less venom, but they freak me out! I think it's being able to see the stinger..

My friend had a few dead Scorpions at his parents place that were on display. He pretend attacked me with them and I FREAKED out!

I would love to do some kind of Scorpion Print some day though! Nice pet.

Thanks! He's actually quite lovely! I thought the same too! But he reminds me of a mini lobster! LOL

Yeah, think of him as a baby black lobster, that's the ticket!! He's cute!!

Lol thanks! Ya he was the biggest of the bunch but when I went to Petco the next week I noticed a battlefield in the tank. Body part lying everywhere! I think one went homicidal & killed the rest. There was 1 left in the tank...I think I saved Mathyus's life!
