Ive decided to go bins for now,but it may be more like a couple years then months(aspergers and right now some bipolar issues).
I think some snakes do get benefit from larger tanks.I see my one corn hang out on his branches alot. They dont get that in a bin. They get no natural stimulation(the more diurnal the more important)..My gopher regularly sits with his head propped on the edge of the sliding glass and watches whats going on, he is surprising visual.Or he periscopes his head way up to take a look.He has options and I think thats part of keeping exotics. It has nothing to do with human emotions. And not just for the snakes benefit, its nice for me to be able to see and enjoy them(otherwise aside from breeding whats the point).
That being said I dont know if I would make a good breeder because I feel bad keeping a big active snake in a bin.So I may just end up keeping a few pets in the end.But deciding is the hardest part.
