Turns out at least one of those pos hets I got from you a few years back was also het for hypo...and my amel het cinder turned out to be het/homo hypo....nice surprise!
Cool beans Jeff! Post pics !!!!
Although, I thought hypo was a 4-letter word over there at Mohr snakes
Jessica, I actually thought the first baby (Hazel) was motley when he hatched. His maternal grandma was one of my ghost motley het stripes, his belly is almost clear - most of the clutchmates have that from the upper keys heritage but his looks different than theirs, a much wider clear area... But upon closer inspection I did see some belly markings. I will try to post some belly pics later and I'm pretty sure he isn't but you never know...
I am quite interested in this morph...please keep us updated with lots of pictures!!!
One of them has quite a goolish marking on his head..I think its fiver....
Such adorableness!!!!!
All the cute babies......cant stand it!
Well as promised here are some belly shots of Hazel, which I thought was a motley when he first hatched. 4th pic is one of his side pattern. And the last picture is the belly of Fiver for comparison.
Me toooo! I hope they breed like rabbits like they are named after LOL
I have the perfect female for one of them. It's an 09 hypo mot poss het cinder. Oddly, She is the only motley my male het hypo cinder (father of all the cinders this year) has ever sired. I have paired him with quite a few motley and het motley females and he has sired exactly one. I am positive her mom had never been with any other males. This, and seeing some other breeders' results when crossing cinder and mot gene has made me strongly more curious about cindermots. Seems like a few of us have been trying.
Well I had been unable to update this for a while because of not having a camera, but here are a couple of new pics of these boys from today. The first two are of Fiver, Hazel wouldn't hold still for a full body shot but the last two are of him.
