Motley Mandarin Caramel

zorro

Old Guy
He just shed so I took his pic, I really need to take a pic of the mandarin female cause she has that creamy coloring just like him.
I threw in a pic of an adult Teserra female cause all we see are babies.
Enjoy
John

Very nice, John! This is the first I have heard of a mandarin, exactly what are the genes involved? I like the look!!

Awesome teserra too, its nice to finally see an adult. She is very dark and looks a lot like the hatchlings!

Very pretty! Not sure which I like better!! Where's the plain old mandarin- that's my favorite!!

Buttered chestnut! Very interesting morph. I hope someday more of these European varieties can be available for the rest of us.

They are available! Just rare. I will have kastanie hatchlings in late 2011, and 2012. If my possible hets prove out and I'm extremely lucky I'll also have hypo kastanies and anery kastanies.

John, beautiful snakes! The tessera has some really nice red coloration!

veery nice! :)
good to see that the caramel mandarin motley is doing fine :)
the tessera is amazing! came she from a miami line?

Thanks for the awesome treat, John!

Great shot of the Mandarin, always like seeing updates of him. Also, sweet Tessera.

I'd love to come over (after my lag is healed ) and take pictures of your collection for you!!!!

Nice animals John. Hopefully we will hatch mandarins, anery Kastanies, snow mandarins, sunkissed Kastanies, sunkissed mandarins, and I am pretty sure we have a pair with carmel in the mix. Oh yea, there could be some stripes in the pairings as well. Add lava to the mix in 2012. I really like the Kastanie gene. So many cool stuff has come out of those Keys animals, huh? Here is the female Kastanie and what we think is a striped Tesserra for variety.

Merry Christmas!

Hey, let us Europeans do the Kastanie mixing please ;p

I think we should call Mandarin Caramel 'Fudge', that snakey makes my mouth watering!

Jim, what is the Kastanie gene? Looks like a normal to me, but that's a fine looking animal which ever way. Are we talking a recessive gene here? Thanks...
