Looks like a lavender motley to me. Very similar to the one I had, a Serpenco Lavender motley. They can look more purple or more orange depending upon the background and/or lighting, as well as their age.

Definitely not just a normal or hypo mot, IMO. Too peachy. Im going with Lav mot.

Yes, and it looks nothing like a normal. Or a normal motley for that matter.

It looks just like a normal motley. It looks hazy like it is about to shed, or maybe just the picture, but nothing like a lavender motley.

It could be everything but without a doubt defenetly no normal motley or amel motley. Everything els could be possible

In the first few panned out shots it does kind of look like a Normal Mot, but the close up changes everything.

I think the colors look consistent with what a Lav Mot would look like. OP, can you get a close up of the eyes / chin markings to see what color they are?

A Normal Motley would have a white chin but also dark chin markings. I don't have a Lav Motley and don't know what their chin markings look like off the top of my head, but I'm assuming they would be a very light gun metal grey type color.

OK, the snake in question mixed with 2 normal motleys going into blue for their very first sheds, as well as some lavender motleys from Serpenco's website of a couple of years ago:

It looks like a lavender mot to me.
It doesn't look like a normal, IMO.
It has lots of peachy colors. It could be dilute? Do dilutes have peachy colors like that? (My dilute anery does have peaches, but that definitely isn't an anery.)

My first thought was that it was definitely Lavender Motley, but I could be wrong. It does look really colorful for a lavender, but the tones are peachy and purplish in color, and it doesn't look like there's any red color whatsoever, that you would expect if it was normal.

I believe Lavender at least, if not hypo on top of the motley of course.

Looks like none of the above..... :shrugs:

Lord knows there is no variation in lavender, hypo, motley, or normal so this should be easy to see what it is right. :sidestep:

The real question now is who is going to be the one to acquire this thing so maybe one day we will know for sure. I'd much rather be wrong than to never know..... :crazy02:

Going back to Page 1... How can you tell its Male?! Is there distinctive markings on its head or something?

Male Lavenders are usually much pinker.

I've never seen a female lavender that has pinks/oranges like that. Not all male lavenders are that colorful, but the super colorful ones are pretty much always male.
