Thats a genetic motley (striped form) not a genetic stripe. But absolutly stunning! One of the best fully stripped motleys I have ever seen.

Thank you everyone. O.K. Elle im confused now. what the deference between "genetic motley" and "genetic stripe". Sorry if it seems a stupid question, my genetic knowledge isnext to zero.

Well your ghost is a motley. However the motley circles have joined together to create one long stripe down the dorsal therefore it's genetically a motley in the striped form.

A stripe however is an entirley seperate gene where there there are usually 4 seperate stripes down the snakes body, 2 on the dorsal and one on each side. Unfortunatleu some striped motleys are so good looking that they are often called stripes. It's not entirley important, unless you are specifically wanting to work with stripes as a seperate gene.

Wow...I really need to get into genetics..but it seems almost like algerbra to me...a total different language...I would have called that a stripe for sure..and it kind of makes me feel dumb because I've been into snakes for a year now..::sigh::

Lol iv been into snakes for 5 years and im still a nobb when it comes to genetics. Anyway striped or motley, i absolutely love him. Thanks for the comments everyone

Nice motley! It could still be a motley X stripe - it's snakes like yours that make me doubt whether motley is completely dominant when motley and stripe are combined, I've hatched a few like that one.
