Grand Bubble Burster
While I do have the ingredients to make these guys, I figured I might as well just skip those steps and buy them. I think it's fairly obvious which is the male and which is the female here, but both have really good diffusion which will only get better with time.

Guess I need some names...

I was just a bit confused :p Guess all my pictures of Miss Griet made Joe take the plunge LOL

I'm glad I never had my girl from hatchling size, the brown would have annoyed me :p

Nothing else (that I know of) has eyes quite like that. Hope it persists as the snake grows. I've never seen an adult.

Yup, they're hypo pewters. Pretty cool lil buggers.

Wow, they are gorgeous! Much better looking then straight pewters (IMO)... Very nice... the first pics are the male right?

Males tend to be less brown Nanci, and apparently are much more silvery. Can't say the same with my female, shes as silver as can be.

Ha, that was our logic too - why wait when you can have something NOW! Yours are absolutely gorgeous, I must post some photos of our new pair and we can compare and contrast.

I've been thinking of naming snakes after bad guys in movies. I watched Snatch last night so there's Turkish, Brick Top. Boris the Blade, Bullet Tooth Tony, Franky Four Fingers, Gorgeous George. lol. But that leaves out female names. I dunno, I'm not that amazing at names.

I think those eyes are staring into the very soul of me o_o
Don't ever skip a feeding or they'll kill you with their adorable mind bullets!

Very cool. Congratulations! So why is it obvious which is the male?

Nanci

I'm not sure about males being 'less brown', but I think as with lavenders males are much lighter and 'brighter', and of course tend to have overall better diffusion.

I've never been a fan of pewters; but I'm a fan of those. Very nice looking. My I ask where you got them from?

They're from SerpenCo.

pewters

They almost look as good as the pewter you got from me when he was that size close but not quite :twoguns:

Joe I must say those two are incredible. That is the bluest eye I have ever seen. Well since you skipped over the "Making them yourself" stage you can let me have the ingredients that you have cast to the wayside. I guess I would be willing to take them off your hands. :grin01: The male is awesome and I like the light brown markings they have. Very cool.
Jay
