New snake, what is he?

I would guess anery, could be cider )

Are you kidding me... :eek1: :nope:

There's no way that's an adult Cinder.
1) It looks nothing like a Cinder
2) An adult Cinder would be rather expensive

Also, really? Possible a Caramel?? Please don't respond unless you have even a little experience visually IDing morphs.. hmmph

Wow, that's a little harsh. And actually, while there are more pictures of anerys that look exactly like him on Ian's Vivarium, he doesn't look that dissimilar from the cinders pictured there. Don't get annoyed at people for trying just because you don't agree with their attempts. We're all friends here, yes? :)

There's no way that's a Cinder. That's all..

I don't like seeing basic morphs being labeled as something much more top end. For awhile everyone had a snake that was actually probably diffused (not). Cinder is one of the newer top end morphs and it really irks me to see people calling a Ghost "maybe a cider". :sobstory:

Hmmm, it sounds like you're objecting primarily to typos and to people theorizing that their own snakes are something more high-end. In this case, the OP just asked whether Whiskey looked like an anery to everyone else, since he's so brown. It was originally me who brought up cinders, not because they're high-end but because I thought, from photos, that it might be a possibility. Looks like that's not the case, but I assure you no one was trying to inflate the snake's morph.

So you're going with a dark ghost? It was sold as an anery, and it looks like the consensus is that it well could be a light one.

Looks like an Anery to moi. I don't see the resemblance to ghost, sorry.
If it was sold to you as an Anery, most likely, you got exactly what you paid for mate.

Whiskey is lovely, a nice big snake with a great combo of brown & gray! I'd say he was well worth the drive, and the name is a great one with his coloring.

Hey, could be. It's a much more likley guess than Cinder or Caramel.

Check out those peepers. In the first shot they appear rather blue. It'd be nice to see a baby shot. Or a shed.

To the OP: Next time this guy sheds check it for melanin. A hypo will have a clear shed. A non hypo's shed will look darker, you will be able to see the saddle outline.

Here's a picture I took so you can see the visual difference. The Hypo's shed is in the middle, two sheds from non hypos surround it.

I had a friend with a darker brown, mature anery . . . so I do know they exist. He is very "cute" - seems to have a personality even in his pics!

I agree, completely!

I would have to agree that it is likely an anery. They come in shades of brown, grey & black.
