All Pied Everything
Hey all, I suppose I should do a quick re-introduction of myself before I post pictures. Hi, I'm Jessica, an artist. I live in Eugene OR, going to UO.
Over the last few years I've gone though a lot of change, loss, and yet also growth. I hit a low point a few years ago and had to make many changes, part of that being accepting losses and turning my whole life around. For those of you who remember me, I no longer have the snakes in my old collection.
This last year though has marked the positive part of my change. I've started to learn how to live with accountability and joy. I've gained a LOT of personal growth and feel much better than I had in the past. Things have been going pretty well, but one of the main things I felt was still missing from my life was snakes. I've been missing them, but I finally feel like I'm at a point in my life where I can responsibly keep them again.
I started browsing here a little, mostly lurking, and also looking at VMS's available snakes every once in awhile. I saw a little female Phantom for sale and just kind of KNEW I had to grab her! Something about her really turned my head.
So yea, here I am now.. finally a snake owner again!! I'm so happy. I do want to keep it small though for now, not get in over my head. Of course being a true Corn Snake addict, I had to get a 1.1 "pair"
So anyway, here I introduce Oak and Olive, my new babies!! They are both named for streets in Eugene that have significant meaning to me. I've gone through lots of changes and my life will forever be impacted by events that happened on these streets.
OK, enough with the chit chat, on to the snakes!!
Olive
Female '09 Phantom
Curious from the very start!
I just couldn't stop taking pictures of her, she is SO BEAUTIFUL! She also is very calm and exploratory. She's only struck at me once, on her first day here when I was taking these pics before putting her into her new home.
cont with Oak..
