Er... yeah... yellow one looks rather like a butter to me too. However, if the person you are getting it from does not know, then you should do breeding trials before labeling it as anything other than an amel.
 
The Yellowish one MAY be a butter (the saddles seem too red for a butter, IMO), or it may be an amel het caramel or even a creamsicle. What is the breeder calling it?

I'd call that first one a Creamsickle, there's just too much reddish orange for it to be a butter, nice looking one for sure!

ps) second one is an Anery...
 
Very pretty, love the head marking doesn't look like a butter or amberish very bright butter if so? :) What about Hypo in there maybe? Even the Anery looks light and the Amel bright. Just an idea lol

Definitely not a butter, but whether it is a creamsickle or an amel het caramel is a tough call. I would like to see a nice photo of the belly checks as that head pattern has a minor het bloodred look to it. And for comparison, here is an adult amel het caramel...

No, a lack of belly checks would indicate possible motely, striped, diffused genetics.
ps) which picture is more true to life the one where he is more yellow or more orange?
 
LOl now that the BR was mentioned, not sure why I didn't think that either with that head marking ;) Just so bright I was also thinking hypo.

Just for clarification:

Bloodred is a selectively-bred diffused cornsnake. Diffusion is the gene. So when you're referring to the pattern created by diffusion as I believe Susan was, it should be referred to as such while the colored aspect of the morph would be appropriately called a bloodred. I'm not trying to be picky, just feel this is important as the casual use of both had me very confused about what was what for awhile.
