Couldn't give you that price right now considering it will be another couple years or longer before the first one(s) are produced. Then another couple years to produce a handful, that MIGHT be for sale.

This is a longterm project.

Not YET, but we are still in the "breeding trial" period to determine if the P/S trait is linked ONLY to the Bloodred trait or if it's a trait of it's own.

I seriously like the way you're thinking with the extra Hets. That's the way to dream. It isn't necessarily all dream though. The probability is the same with every egg. So even if the odds are one in four you technically could get four out of four; Hypo Bloodred Het Lav P/S or (your dream clutch) Hypo Lav Bloodred P/S! :dancer: If you haven't guessed yet, I'm a glass half full kinda person. Best of luck on your project.

I'm really keeping fingers crossed that he proves to be het Hypo. I also bred this male to a Ultramel, so that will test him for Amel this year as well.
It's very possible he could carry one of these two traits.

Rob has a P/S that proved to be het Hypo and Joe Pierce has one that proved to be het Amel and BOTH of them are from the same exact line, so like I say.........FINGERS CROSSED !!

It sure would get me a step closer to the target in one or the other project if I hit one of them.

I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.
