SO WHO HAS THE BIGGEST CORNS???

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. It seems I have quite a few "huge" corn males on hand. I was thinking it would be fun to show off our Big Ones! I was thinking of offering a "prize" to the Queen or King of the Big Corns!

Big would mean, over average in all aspects. Morph is no issue, bring them on. Are most huge corns males? Any particular morph over another? Let's have fun and show off out big boys and big girls!

#1 Zuko: Normal male het amel, unkn age. About 5 ft long and will over 1000 grams. Pics 1
(just a side note on Zuko, he was breed with to Love Line Okeetee and she is a good sized girl herself, but about 1/2 the clutch has turned out to be much larger than their siblings...Interesing dont you think?)

#2 Bender: Normal male unkn het and age. About 5 ft and about 700 grams. Pic 2

#3 Rudy: Normal Stripe male unkn hets, about 5 ft and about 1000 grams. Pic 3

#4 No name: Creamsicle male, 5ft, very thick and probably well over 1000 grams. Pic 4

#5 No name: Anery Stripe male, 5ft, very thick and probably well over 1000 grams. Pic 5

#6 Gussy: Sunkissed male will over 1000 grams. Pic 6

#7 Axle: Anery Motley het amel male, about 5 ft and 800 to 900 grams. Pic 7

#8 No name: Outcrossed male unkn het, about 4'+ and 700 grams. Pic 8 (In Blue)

(and of course Mr. Grey but he is a Grey Rat so he cant count on this one)

So I have all big males, aging from 4 years old and up.

Cant wait to see the biggies!
Smiles

This is Scout, Desert Animal's 2005 anery. Currently in my possession, so I'm calling him MY biggest corn! Here he is, weighing in today at 902 grams, despite being on a restricted feeding schedule _and_ short hunger strike. He was 731 when I got him in August, and I didn't want to send him back as a monster snake, but it appears that so far, I am unsuccessful...

Here he is stretched out along the water garden, which measures about 5'6". I can't believe my guys will ever be this big!! My next largest corn is Cherry, who is 500-something.

Very pretty boy Nanci. Unfortunately, sometimes no matter how hard we try, they keep gaining weight! Heck, just take a look at Jake! LOL Love the pond. Can I come live with you Nanci?

PJ

Sure you can, PJ! Big Jake was 1265 in January...He's on hunger strike now, too! He was 743 when you sent him. Nearly double that size now! He's bit me twice, both times were my fault, and all he left was pin pricks both times. (But I nearly died of heart failure!)

I wonder what some of Brent's snakes weigh (how big they are)... I know both of the girls I had from him are well over what I would see as "normal" for their age! ;)

This is my first ever corn Calvin. He is almost 14 years old. On March 25 he weighed in at 1287 grams.

Those are all pretty big, but what about becky's beasts?

Yes they are, but Becky's Beasties are hybrids!

All these snake look so big- I can't wait until my we worms are that size:)

They are all on the VERY large size for corns. You might not want them this big. Let them grow normally and do not power feed. I will be posting an issue on this issue in fact!

I totally agree Danielle... I can't wait till my babies grow up! :D

Em, keep your babies between 3 and 4.5 ft. Unless they get this big on their own. I have a post to make on is point.

Not all big corns are genetically big. I have an interesting post to make later. Not a good post but a helpful post either way. At least, I hope so.

No worries PJ... I don't agree with power-feeding or trying to make snakes bigger than they are naturally. I was simply saying I couldn't wait for mine to actually grow up in general. Sorry for the confusion. :)

BTW, you have a PM, hon.

Me neither I of course will let them grow naturally. I have geckos who are huge, though fed normal and some that are small and eat more than my biggest guys. Power feeding definitely is not something I would consider at all I'm in more of a hurry to see what they will look like as adults:)

:eek:WOW..."and 'MY'..what big corns you have grandma"...
all the better to....uh...anyway...

Great Idea PJ..I had no idea where I was going with that..LOL.
I will have to post a pic of my "BIG" guy later when my computer stops acting out...:smash:

~~Amanda:cheers:

Here's my biggest boy without question. "L.J." is an 05 Amel stripe het butter weighing in right at 1000g. He's going into the blue now so he's not looking his sharpest.:shrugs:
