I have a couple of pennies lying around so I'll throw in my two cents.
I purchased my first corn (Normal Motley), Tek about a month ago from a trade show. I must admit it was a full impulse buy and I knew nothing about corn snakes at the time. In the time since I brought Tek home I have dedicated myself to learning everything I can about corn snakes. Boy was I surprised when I discovered all of the fabulous morphs and colors associated with the species.
Even though I now know that Mr. Tek is an average representation of the corn I would NEVER consider "trading up". My boy may have "normal" coloring but I adore his own uniqueness regardless. Every corn is like a finger print and no two are alike. We should all embrace the individuality of each of our snakes and know that each is truly one of a kind.
