I don’t really care what religion (or lack there of) people subscribe to as long as it doesn’t interfere with logical thinking.

Could not agree more!!...I don't like when the word Muslim becomes synonymous with extremist at all, and even so Barack Obama is not a Muslim. If he were I would not care at all, like you said, as long as it didn't interfere with logical thinking..Must rep this post, because it is honestly refreshing to hear!.

Both wars (Iraq and Afghanistan) were supported by congress. The war in Iraq however was not supported by the United Nations. That is the main reason for Canada's refusal to become part of that "coalition".
Ironically, the war in Iraq was based on bad intelligence. Congress bought into the Bush administrations "weapons of mass destruction" ploy when in reality, Junior Bush was itching to make good on the war his dad didn't finish. The military offensive in Afghanistan took a back seat to the Iraq war unfortunately.

I really think you need to do a little research. Just because his ancestry has Muslim roots doesn't make a person Muslim. It is living ones life according to the Koran and professing the faith that makes one Muslim. But at first glance, that statement exhibits a lack of tolerance for Muslims. You should really put all those degrees to good work KJ and get a job with the government in the propaganda department, because you excell at mistruths. I'm beginning to think you were a huge fan of McCartheyism.

Well, I might agree with you. too bad much of the Muslim world disagrees with both of us. Next you'll tell me he really did sit through a white America HATING church and never hear a bad word spoken? What hurt more when you swallowed that tripe? The hook, line, or the lead sinker?

Even if not Muslim, Obama isn't a good christian - or a good person of any religion or non-religion at all. He's not a good person. THAT'S why I dislike him on a "personal" level. On a political level, he wants to destroy the country and rebuild it as something new. That's a traitor to the constitution to me. That's a traitor. He deserves what any traitor of his level gets.

No, I don't know what that is. Punishment is good enough for me. I am not advocating violence. In fact, I think violence would help his cause. i'd love impeachment, but I'll settle for a loss in the polls for that party later this year...and especially in 2012.

Call me stupid, but, being a man who has spent the last four years working and training with a wide variety of explosives, including WMD's. It is, to my knowledge that Nerve Agents are, in fact, weapons of mass destruction. And, we have found plenty of those in Iraq. They have been there since the Russians, and I don't remember the Intelligence telling the American people that Iraq was creating them, only that they had them. Which, in fact, they did.

Who are you, as a "good" Christian, to judge Obama as a person, Christian, or other? You can criticize his policies all you want, or even state that it's your opinion that Obama is not what you consider to be a "Good Christian", but you state it like it's fact, and that's completely wrong. The fact is, you have no idea exactly who Obama is as a person, nor do I, so for you to make those claims is ridiculous.

Ummmm, you are confusing ME with your brother, Ricky. He's the one that recently made comments about my soul and its fate. I've never claimed to be a Christian. Matter of fact, I've stated pretty often that I am (somewhat regretfully) just a plain old agnostic. Sorry, good point on that statement (and I hand it to you that it would be a valid one if I were a Christian), but you shot it at the WRONG target this time. ;)

Of course, I am talking about Christian-the-religion and not Christian-the-culture. When I state Obama's evil, I don't mean in a spiritual way. Good dock, but wrong boat. ;)

Yopui saying MY statement is completely wrong is a statement from you that could be just as wrong. I'm defining wrong as "incorrect." Hence the irony. If you meant wrong as "inappropriate," that I can't disagree with you if ANYONE actually did interpret my statements as anything but my opinion. If they didn't, then you are correct (assuming this definition of "wrong"). If they did not, then the statement is just irrelevant. Someone, I don't think anyone took my words as an iota more than my opinion.

Of course history supports these policies have been bad before. History will again, I'm positive. Sooooooo, where does that leave us?

Hmm...The only problem I have with this entire statement is trying to picture Cheney and McCain as "intelligent"... Quick on the uptake...OK, I get that. Good at PR? Yup...both of them. Smart manipulaters? Absolutely. But I just can't grant them both "intelligent"...

I must admit, however, that since Cheney got away with shjooting his buddy in the face, and his BVUDDY actually apologized...well...I don't know if it's intelligence, but...it sure is good.
