Suspicious yellow goop

DaemoNox

Abyssus abyssum invocat
One of my most anticipated breedings of the year, not morph-wise, but these two were the beginnings of my collection so it has a lot of meaning. I had put them together, Phasma showed no interest in him. I leave for a few hours to find upon my return a dumped waterbowl, them curled together in their box, and this suspicious goop which can only mean one thing. Its kind of dissapointing I didnt get to see their first time, however I'm not going to let it ruin everything else.

I hope to get some nice anerys and ghosts out of this pairing.

You can all thank me for telling her to put them together tonight! Thank you...Thank you...:grin01: Now Just mist them and you will get breeding shots.:grin01:

I reckon he may have been so worked up that he couldn't wait any longer.
He should be better the second go around!

You think? You should see her exspretion on her face in the other pictures.. The last year there was goop after they mated.

The goop matches Gooper's lips!

Congratulations, I think. I hope some of the goop went where goop is supposed to go...

Well at least I can now say with confidence that I know what snake-sperm looks like. Thanks, I think! :grin01:

Yes, this thread is definately useful, I feel so much smarter now that I have seen snake sperm ;)

He should be more experienced the second time and hopefully the goop goes where its supposed to go :)

It probably did go where it should. Every pairing my snakes' had over the past 11 years or so has that tell-tale yellow spooge spot left as an indicator. And once it dries, it has a nice shine that says "I'm NOT poop!", just in case you're not sure what you've found the next morning.

We should make this thread a sticky for the newbies'.
Don't want them to miss out on some good information. :sidestep:

Speaking as a newbie, um, no thanks. I found it all on my own and really don't think that I need to be reminded of its existence by turning it into a sticky.

(BTW, are you suggesting that newbies READ the stickies? Ooooh. OK.)

/self-deprecating sarcasm
