They say hypo makes lavenders appear more purple, especially in the males. My question is : is this true? I've seen pictures of regular lavs that are really purple too. Or does any other gene help the purple stand out more?
I've heard that Hypo Plasmas grow into some really awesome purple snakes. I've only seen pics though. If you could add a stripe in there, it'd probably be a really bright purple.
I have/had Lav, Hypo Lav, Anery Lav and all are just different shades
of the Lav coloring IMO.
My Most Purple snake and not Lavender is my Pewter,
He's a deep Purple color.
The most purple snake I've seen a photo of is this one Rich posted on his website of a lavender bloodred. I don't think you can get a corn snake to be any more purple!
That's the snake that made me go crazy and buy my Lily! She looks quite a bit like him, although a little more grey. But I've never photographed her in a blue bowl, either!
