Michelle's Candied Corns!
Some pics of Amethyst, my petco snow. I got her because of her sweet yellows. She was covered in mites when I got her and started to regurge shortly after. She is doing excellent now, no more nutribac and eating fuzzies like a champ! I'm not 100% sure whether or not she is actually a she anymore, we'll see when she is a bit bigger and I can probe her better... I really hope she stays a she. Any way, we went outside today! Hooray! I'll probably use this thread for a while to post new pics of her.

This is my favorite part about her... her belly is beautiful. These are her true colors too.

LOL it does look like someone drew on her with a highlighter! haha. I love her belly :3

I was taking pics for my boyfriend of Amethyst and decided to post some of them here...

Her colors are developing more and more with every shed, she has a LOT of green coming in along her saddles towards her tail.

VERY nice! With all the new twists on snows (corals, strawberry, etc) it's too easy to forget that you can still have real standouts without an extra ingredient.

Thanks everyone! :D
I think she is gorgeous too! A nice petco find, indeed.

I am *hoping* that her yellow is heritable, as she has a date with my ts anery in a few years :)

And Christen, if I have popped/probed her right she is definitely a she... but if anything changes, I'll let you know!

Thanks! I really like how these recent pictures turned out, they show her color true-to-life. Maybe I should start taking all my pictures with white backgrounds.

Well, here's the news...

I spent some time seriously looking at the tail on Amethyst, thinking "gee, this really looks male." So I got out my probing kit now that she is older and bigger....

Definitely probed male. >.>
I'm not necessarily unhappy, but I was really looking forward to pairing her with Romance in a few years.
I'm going to have a friend pop just to make sure, but as far as it seems to me now, definitely a male.
Guess I will be looking for a new name, Amethyst doesn't quite fit the bill anymore :p

Well he is definitely gorgeous! Those are some very high yellows!!

Off topic, love the name of one of your corns, Zephyra, that's the name of my Shaman in warcraft lol.
