Thoughts?? (Updated) Help between Stripe and Motley/Stripe?

MysticExotics

(formerly NWHeather)
I saw this one at the local Expo today. She was the only one striped like this. There were some definite Motley Snows, and they had some Normal Stripes, among some others.
The problem, is there two clutches involved, and when I tried to narrow it down, there was some confusion as to which clutch she came from.

Updated: So, she's a Stripe, with some cubing.

Can someone post the defining differences between Stripe and Motley/Stripe?

What a pretty snake! She looks like a stripe to me, but I am definitely not an expert when it comes to stripe/motley combos.

Thank you! I am not 100% sure she came from the same clutch that the Snow Motleys were from, or if she was from the other clutch that had a Normal Stripe. They were all mixed together, and none were marked which clutch they were from.

She looks more Stripe to me, but for some reason, I am wondering if she's got Motley as well. Probably not. LOL

At one point I recall someone pointing out the major difference between a stripe and a motley with striped phenotype is either the width of the dorsolateral stripes or the gap between them. Can anyone confirm if either or both is true?

I hadn't realized (or maybe didn't pay attention) to Stripe as being able to have cubing.

I associated the cubing with Motley, and seeing all of the other Motleys, I was thinking that it was possibly involved.

I guess I need to learn more about the Stripe gene.

I do vaguely remember something, but I could not remember the defining details.

Yep. Stripes have a wide central 'stripe' and narrower lateral stripes, whereas a pinstripe motley has a narrow central stripe with wide lateral stripes.

What mostly confuses me is that people call the background color the "stripe". I always call the saddle colored stripes the stripes, if you know what i mean :p

the saddle borders are what determine the stripe thickness, or lack of thickness.
thin saddle borders will result in thin stripes.
absent saddle borders will determine disappearing or vanishing pattern, depending on the lineage.
broad banded makes for some appreciative wide striping morphs.
