Twins X 2

I thought this was really cool when I discovered them. Two sets of twin from the same clutch. One set was Ambers and the other was Normals. The other (3rd) head was a Ghost. This was a Christmas clutch with anerys also in the mix.

Anyone else have 2 sets in the same clutch before?

Ooh, they are so adorable!! I would die if I hatched twins!! I can't wait to hear how much the twins weigh compared to the single clutchmates.

That is awesome having two sets of twins, I wonder if there is a way to breed the twin producing gene into various different projects. Is anyone working on something like that?

Bout time you got those pics up! Where u been stranger?
Working as always!

So cool, I never got twins and I been breeding corns since 1985
I was so excited! I have only bred 2 years now. This probably won't happen again for a long time.

There was another egg in those pictures (the one beside the ambers) that was as big as the twin eggs. I thought there might be a shot at 3 sets in the same clutch. That egg gave a really large normal tough.

Weights wasn't that much different. 1 to 2 grams if i remember correctly. The main difference was that size of the eggs in general. Twin eggs were a lot larger than the singles.

That's interesting. When Jenea Woods hatched the tri-color hoggy twins, they were tiny- like two grams!!
If I remember correctly. Half the size of the single babies. I wonder if the size is affected by whether the twins
are fraternal or identical. Hers were identical. I think most are.

can U use the twin gene to produce more chance of getting twins in every clutch. and they are lovely very lucky

Wicked cool!....I hope to someday hatch some twins!!....I'd freak out! I'd be excited!!.....Congrats!
